Summers in Berlin are characterised by the steady temperatures and the abundant sunshine the once divided city experiences. As matter of fact Berlin weather retains its sunny disposition on average for all bar one day of the season.

During the day, temperatures remain at a not-too-hot but rather cool and pleasant 23° Celsius (74° Fahrenheit), while rainfall is minimal throughout the season.  In contrast, winters in Berlin are cold and wet, but characteristically steer clear of any extremities. Although snowfall is a common occurrence for most of Germany, in Berlin it falls only sporadically without ever causing any inconvenience.
